Been going to Les Arcs around Easter with Family and friends, about 20 of us for the last 5 or 6 years.

Staying in the self catering accommodation at Arc 1950. Our apartment costs -

2020 £1300 (Cancelled and voucher to roll over)
2021 £1650 (Cancelled and voucher rolled over again)
2022 £2750 - Figured they needed to make up for lost revenue and the vouchers, so just pretty much doubled it.

Just got the 2023 prices through £3100!

Anyone else seeing huge increases in the price of skiing accommodation?

My cheapo annual trip to Bulgaria has doubled in the last two years too.
It’s just like fuel prices I suppose. They are hugely driven up by economic factors / demand due to such things as Brexit, COVID and the Russian invasion.
Similar to fuel prices, I won’t be holding my breath waiting for the prices to go back down.

It's the lack of competition - now there are only a few companies offering skiing hol's - when I started in 1970's there were maybe 30-40 different brochures in travel agents, now if you're lucky you'll get inghamsfrown
Best advise to keep costs low are to drive there and find accomodation locally - we've never failed doing this and prices are 'Negotiable' smile
Lift passes have also risen, If like me you a old fella just pick a resort which offer senior person discounts maybe 50-60% on lift pass prices if you're luckysmile
Good luck

Have you checked prices via Airbnb or VRBO?

If that is an apartment for 20, then £1,300 seems like very good value indeed!
