I have a overnight stop in Brugge soon, in a car that isn’t very secure, or mine, so hoping for a hotel with underground secure parking. Most of the sites don’t mention the type of parking, so rather not risk it being on the street.

Anyone know of a ok hotel with good parking? Don’t want to spend a fortune!

Raddison Blu has as I recall. Away from the hotel by a street or so but an underground secure car park all the same.

We stayed in a lovely small B+B that had a properly secure garage on the back, rather like your own garage that you could reserve. Lovely but by fk it stank of drains the whole visit-that's Brugge sometimes I guess.

I can recommend the dukes palace as a hotel, no parking though. There was a pretty secure underground car park the hotel recommended 5 mins away though.

There's a secure underground car park by the Railway station called Interparking Brugge T'Zand.

Very central and secure

Martins Brugge is right in the centre and has underground parking with roller shutters & intercom to get in & out. One of the entrance ramps was too steep for the car I was in at the time and they were happy for me to drive down the exit ramp so I didn't scuff my bumper.

ETA: I hadn't noticed at the time but looking on streetview, the entrance for the car park is right opposite the police station!

Been quite a few years but we stayed at Hotel Montanus for a wedding. Parking is through quite a tight gate to an area behind so safely off the street. All seems to be similar these days.

Thats weird - I've parked in their underground car park loads of times.

I am actually sat in Hotel Navarra in Bruges right now. It has a secure car park behind the hotel.

Just googled it and so it does! Well I’ve clearly been an idiot when I’ve been there.

You had me wondering if something had changed - its been a few years now for obvious reasons! Hoping to drop by in June if normality ensues.

The Dukes Palace have a sister hotel with parking - The Prinsenhof which is opposite- stayed there a few times - very nice in the main building. The owner is into his cars too.

Stayed in the Peelaert years ago, they had a tiny car park in the back accessible from a tiny alley, but I managed to get a (rented) vectra estate in there ok and only broke a fog light.

Just googled and it’s now called Dukes Arches.

One of my colleagues had the fish stew from a South African restaurant across the way and famously shat the bed that night, don’t ask me which room though as it was ages ago, probably best not to think about it when checking in.

It’s pretty hard to find a place with parking in Bruges. There was the Park Hotel had an underground car park, but the best so far is really the big public one under the underpass. I’ve seen all sorts of expensive cars in there - nothing will get touched.

There was an air bnb type place I used in 2019 that was very nice too - I used their garage as I had ebikes in a towbar rack. I forget the name though.
