We are considering going to cornwall for a week in may with the kids for a getaway (triplet 3.5 year olds) and wondered if anyone has any reccomendations? We normally go to a haven type park on norfolk coast (council I know but its easy) but swmbo wans to go to cornwall.

Can anyone with experience let me know where abouts in cornwall to aim for? St ives? Penzance? Just want somewhere with a nice beach, decent on site food or nice eateries near by and stuff for kids to do. Presuming lodge on a holiday type site will be easier and cheaper.

Thanks in advance

I have booked a week camping with the wife and Kids in August this year at a place called Monkey Tree holiday park, I can't comment on what it's like as I haven't stayed there before however it looks to have plenty do for the kids and is quite central to all the beaches and other tourist hotspots.
