BBC iPlayer on hols

I'm taking a moderately long holiday in France this year - and will have my MacBook with me. I wouldn't mind catching the BBC news occasionally and assume the iPlayer will not work.

I know diddly squat about VPN's - I assume I'd need one.

Are there any free good ones? Or are they all paid for apps?

Just do a 30day trial with the like of Nord Vpn, then cancel on your return.

Did this last year on a break in Cyprus.
