I'm filling out a locator form to travel to Spain and it's stumbling on the covid pass page.
I'm double jabbed, but it's saying my certificate is out of date.
A quick Google says boosters might be needed, has anyone come across this issue?

If your last vaccination was more than 270 days ago, then Spain require you to have had the booster. Well that is my understanding anyway.

A crazy situation but the Spanish appear to be penalizing us Brits since AIUI, they will let EU unvaccinated in with a negative test but not the British.

Up until recently, they weren’t letting 12-17 year olds in from UK unless they had had 2 doses even though we weren’t offering 12-17 year old# 2 doses………..at least now they can go providing they have had one dose and a negative test.

That hasn't been very well shown on the travel websites!
Best see if I can get in for a booster this afternoon, thanks.

This may help if you are still in Preston as per your profile...

I went through Madrid a few weeks back and I was informed that I wasn't considered fully vaccinated because my second dose was more than 270 days, by about 10 days. I went anyway and had no issue, so did several others from here in the same situation.

It's been that long since we've been away, I didn't think to look.
My mistake.

Is it 14 days or more before you fly?

Tomorrow morning.

Luckily just saw this on the link provided above:

There is no requirement for 14 days to have passed between receiving your booster jab and entering Spain. Booster jabs can be administered at any time prior to travel to Spain

Yeah, just checked and you are right. I (wrongly) thought it was a requirement.

Have a good time and hope the weather improves for you! Returned to the UK last night and its been a miserable March and record levels of rain! Heading back Monday and praying for some sunshine.

Typical red top sensationalism. In what way does that constitute "chaos"?! If you are vaccinated or have proof of recovery in the last 6 months you can enter. If you cannot, you aren't allowed. Hardly chaos.

Little misleading really considering the canaries are Spain and they have zero restrictions

My partner is an EU citizen and has not had booster (had really bad reaction to jabs 1 and 2) and is at day 290 when we fly

From what I read she can provide an antigen test done the day before in lieu of booster as she is EU even if she is flying from the UK

I've started filling in the forms for both of use to get the QR code but cannot get as far as the Covid bit in the form as it's too soon

Anyone who's filled the form in recently - can you tell me if there are buttons on the form to say EU and therefore as long as a test is done then the 270 day rule does not apply?

I know it's scratching, but would be helpful if you noticed anything

I filled it in last night and honestly I don't remember seeing what you mention.
