A week in Devon - What to do?

We have booked a stay in Lustleigh, Devon for the first week of April. Very exciting, I know but I'm absolutely knackered and need a break!

I've been given a few little walks in the immediate area and we (self and partner) would like to explore Dartmoor and Exmoor as well as see some of the coast(s), but never having been for the last 45 years I'm not quite sure where we should head or what to do. Suggestions of nice walks on coastal paths, beaches etc plus whatever towns/villages are worth a visit would be most welcome.

Also, any nice veggie-friendly restaurants/pubs worth a visit too!
