Hi,

Does anyone know if National Rail "Cheapest Fares" are released Or whether I could had missed my chance?

Need to get from South Coast to London and seem to recall a few cheaper options being available a few weeks ago.

12 weeks before.
Closer to the time the cheapest tickets more than likely sell.

Um, well I've done a ticket price in June and no discounts on SWT.

I'll sit tight and see what happens.

I use Avanti for train booking, mainly for work which means I get Nectar points. Also look at rail cards for the various categories

I've looked and a "two together" railcard that's 30 quid to buy then saves 1/3 on 150 quids worth of two tickets.

So I'd be spending an extra 30 quid to save 50 (I think).

I probably might do this as I'll save on another potential trip over the year into London which is what they want I guess with these sort of cards.

If you shop @ Tesco and collect Clubcard points then you can use £10 of points to purchase the "Two Together" card.

Interesting....thanks for this. I would need to spend about 100 quid that could be a few fuel top ups at the moment!
