Unusual/unique Air BNB properties

I have done a search to see if this has been done before but couldn’t find anything.

I’m sure there are some really unusual and unique Air BNB properties but it’s doesn’t seem to be easy to find them.

Only really interested in UK properties, looking for somewhere to take the wife in the next few months as we try and go away once a quarter for a long weekend without kids!

Any ideas appreciated.

A site called 'coolstays' has things like windmills, house boats, old air traffic towers, houses built in old coastal fortifications etc.

We stayed in a Welsh gatehouse over the Christmas period (think a mini castle) which was great.

If you go into the AirBNB and click 'I'm flexible' on location it comes up with headings of different types of properties.

I think my favourite (not UK) was a small, working dairy & beef farm near Adelaide. For a shiny-trousered IT wonk they were quite happy for me to muck in and have a play at farming for a couple of days
