Hotel recommendations in Mallorca
Discussion
I’m planning to visit Mallorca in March with my wife and baby (he’ll be 5 months). Looking for bike friendly hotels in the North/East in Port Pollensa, Pollensa or Alcudia. Needs to be centrally locates so my wife can go for walks / shop with the baby while I’m out on my bike.
Would prefer a decent quality place (4 star) with a pool and good bars/restaurants but also suitable for a little one.
Thanks

Try Villa Concha in Port de Pollensa.
It was refurbished a few years ago as a Sports Hotel.. I'm not a cyclist but have stayed there and many cyclists use it. It's pretty central to the town and close to some good bike hire places.
The Duva has an underground secure park and bike mechanic on site but it's a 20-30 minute walk into town. Also possibly not true 4*.

We stayed at the Delfin Azul in Alcudia in July with a 2 year old and it was really good. Good food, very good pool for a small child, very good staff.

I'm just back from staying in the Fergus Style Hotel in Port de Pollenca. Nice secure storage for bikes, a workstand and a couple track pumps available. The room I had was good, I saw plenty people with kids so I guess it was ok for them too.
The breakfasts were good, I was only B&B and there was plenty choices for dinner and lunch outside the hotel. For the beach it is just a few yards from the sand.

We caught up with some friends who were staying here. Although they hadn't come on a cycling trip, apparently bike hire was very cheap. There was bike storage at the hotel. Only saw one room which was well decorated but rather cramped. Good pools for kids.It was refurbished a few years ago as a Sports Hotel.. We stayed here. It was a bit pricey.
I kept seeing people I thought I knew, then I realised it was the Corrs, Annie Lennox, Bob Geldoff & a few others

Have a look at

Cycle shed etc, a bit pricey and extra for parking but a good location.

Viva sunrise in Alcudia, it has a bike store within the grounds is ideal for families and is within 10 minutes of the beach, people seem to take bikes up to their rooms too.
Yeah we stayed there earlier this year, local area's not great but i'd recommend the hotel it's nice for the price. The Leaper said:
Used to stay here many years in succession before & after the extension, pool etc. A lovely mainly adult hotel in a quiet location. For the out-of door type a bit too up-market, too out of town for the shops & neither staff or residents tolerant or welcoming of babies & kiddies.
