Center Parcs in France?
Discussion
Anyone been? We're thinking of getting the Shuttle over to France and driving to a Center Parcs. Kids (6 and 3) think going on a train under with sea (with the car!!) is really exciting, but i've no idea if Center Parcs over there is like it is in the UK (I assume so, just more French people...).
Any experiences / tips / warnings appreciated. Cheers.

Hi Bungle, we went to Le Lac d'Ailette which is the most northern one last yr. its about a 1.30hr drive from Calais. We found it to be very good with some good interesting towns near by and its smack bang in the middle of where the ww1 happened so plenty of war memorials and history to go see, would go to the dragon caves about 10 mins away which was occupied by the french then the Germans and then half each! Also euro Disney is about 1:30 mins away so easy to go for a day. Another bonus is its a lot cheaper than the uk counter parts.
In 2019 we went to the one near Disney land - absolutely fantastic and we're thinking about going again in November.
Only downside is the cost is loads more now as with everything. We paid £1050 in 2019 for chunnel, 3 nights at CP, 2 days entry to Disney land which included breakfast and really good dinners. Its now £1400 for the same deal excl food which is expensive at DL.
