Afternoon,

I will have to undertake a trip on the underground tomorrow from Uxbridge to Liverpool St, all of which is on the Metropolitan line.

Any idea how I can calculate how long it will take?

Use the TfL journey planner: http://www.thetube.com

It even lets you specify the time you will be leaving. smile

If you were to make the journey now it would take 57 minutes.

As others have said, tfl journey planner is usually good. Otherwise, 2 minutes per stop plus 5 minutes on and off is usually a reasonable rule of thumb.

OP,

You need an Aldgate train from Uxbridge, but not all trains from Uxbridge will be running to Aldgate, especially on saturday. Many will only go as far as Baker St.

If this is the case, take the Baker St train to Baker St and change there. You can either pick up an Aldgate Met Line, or a Circle Line or a Hammersmith & City train, whichever comes first. Quicker than waiting for an Aldgate train from Uxb.

Thanks for that. Useful and noted.
