Going to be in Kissimmee for 3 weeks in September, while there I fancy shooting some guns..Any suggestions on who to choose? Best selection? Experience?
As I'll mostly be working I plan on going in the evening so I don't want to drive too far.

Need to fill my evenings and want to avoid the parks...done them too death.

Cheers

I am unaware of any ranges in Kissimmee. Your closest is likely to be Oak Ridge Gun Range on South Orange Avenue (Pine Castle) Orlando, or Reigs on South OBT.
Both have a good selection of rental hand guns, shotguns and semi-auto tactical/assault weapons.
Oak Ridge is bigger (more shooting 'lanes') but gets busy as it seems to be a tourist favorite. Reigs is smaller (with a smaller rental selection) and is less busy - but it's in a pretty scummy part of town.

Been to Oak Ridge Gun Range myself last year, works out pretty expensive as you tend to get carried away but I really enjoyed it and will do it again when I'm back in the states.

Regarding costs, range and weapon rental is pretty nominal - around $50 for a semi-auto pistol and an assault rifle. What eats up the money is ammunition and targets. Oak Ridge charges around $18 for 50 x 9mm target load. You can piss through 200 rounds in an hour without breaking a sweat. You can also pay a buck for a (big) target, so you're likely to blast through $10-15 in targets too.
Don't forget to add sales tax (7%) to the total.

Thanks Matt & Chris for your input.

Surprised at the costs, didn't think I'd be spending nearly $150 for hour in an indoor range. (actually it'll be $450 as I'm taking two others)

$150 for an hour would be about right, I was there for about 30 minutes and spent about $80. Could have spent a lot longer but my wife wasn't really enjoying it so we left a little earlier than I would have liked to.
