Naples, Fl, or Tampa/St petes

Hi, we are looking to go to one of these two places in September, we are flying into Orlando for a couple of days then onto the Bahamas, after that we are planning on flying back to Florida for 4 days, Which of the two areas would you recommend?

Can only comment on Naples. Lovely place. Go to the pier and watch the dolphins.

I stayed at the Bellasera and would definitely recommend it

Naples is great. Some fancy cars in the main street in the evenings so a good place to go 'spotting'.

Nice beaches and some good restaurants too.

Visit the old town area in the evening too. the 'pub' is Ok for a beer and live plinky-plonky piano music whilst you have pub grub.

Naples is really nice if you are looking for something chilled and quiet.

Tampa always just felt like another big US city to me.

St Pete's nice and has quite a European feel to it in parts. Certainly more to see/do than Naples - if that's what you are looking for.

Bellasera, fantastic place to stay, the apartments are huge, plush and spotless . in fact I book it again this Christmas
