car rental in eurpoe..what do you need like vests etc
Discussion
If you rent it in France it should do but I'd check before you leave the depot as sometimes people take them when they return the car and the agencies aren't great at checking. Also remember that everyone needs a vest so if you are lots of people make sure there are enough. If you're renting it outside of France but driving to France check with the agency
Are you renting the car in France or in the UK and then driving to France? If you rent it in France I'd expect you'd still need to sort a couple of hi vis jackets although the rental company might supply them - worth checking beforehand though.
If you are planning on renting it here and driving there then you'll need to tell the rental company beforehand and most can sort all that sort of stuff + plus the other legal stuff you'll need for an additional fee

For everyone else, this website seems to have pretty comprehensive information regarding the situation.

Just picked up a car in Toulouse and asked about the breathalysers to be assured that all the cars had them so we checked before leaving and of course it didn't. So we asked at the counter again and they said that they'd get one out of another car and guess what - they didn't have them either.
