The OH has now told me about a wedding that is in her home country but unfortunately I leave a week beforehand from pre arrange holiday (already booked) so Im wondering how much it is to change my leaving date from the one I have...

Im with RyanAir as they are the only ones that realistically fly there.

I will talk to them direct but the phones are closed at the moment.

It depends on the airline and ticket type - you can buy flexible tickets, for instance.

Expect it to be comparatively expensive on Ryanair though.

Ryanair? Expect o lose your lights and pay or new ones.

I remember the good old dys of bmi when it was £25 plus the difference in fare to change. Managed to get on an earlier flight for just the £25 many times smile

Thats the thing there is not much difference in charges... I already paid £280 and to go across, a week later is £150 so I can either come home for a week and then go across or I annoy the in laws for a week longer.

The money matters are very little.

Just would be nice if OH remember it was 21st rather than 28th as she remember as I was booking first time,

Its just a fker to get hold of them... none seems to work on weekends at call centres.

(say no to 0870 is not much help either)

just out of curiosity, does that tell you what it costs before you do it all?

I have a limit of £150 so anymore than that Im happy to come home for a week instead of taking additional baggage of a suit/shoes/etc.

Not bad... was £70 to move the flight which would have cost me £150 to book more flights...

Happy OH... although Im with the in laws for nearly a month now... lets see who survives.

I lierally just changed my 2 flights on BA this weekend. I know it's a different airline but might give you an idea. We Are flying into LA and wanted to bring the outbound flights forward 3 days so it would give us more time there. They wanted 400 quid, but we haggled them down to 300 quid in the end! (so 150 per person) bloody expensive!!!

Wow.. I changed return flight from 13th July to 23rd July... so I think by the sounds of it I got a very good deal.

He's flying BA to LA you're flying short haul on ryanair, it ought to be a fraction of the price.

Saying you got a good deal is like someone saying they got a good deal because their holiday in a caravan park was cheaper than someone else who spent thousands going to the Malidives. hehe
