Munich to the UK - 1 week

Hi Chaps,

This years holiday will be a road trip out as far as Budapest and then back again. I've sorted the first half. The second half will take me from Munich back to the UK.

Thing is, I've not really got any idea on a decent itinery. Basically, I'd like to see some fantastic Alpine scenery and visit the Stelvio Pass. Outside of that I'm flexible, though I don't want to bother with France.

Switzerland looks quite compact. Is it best to pick somewhere central, book 4 nights in a hotel and do day trips? Or travel? Or what?

Any ideas would be well received.

Spa? The Ring? Go to Stuttgart & visit the Porsche & Mercedes museums? Or in true PH style are you already doing these on the way out?

Already got them sorted - the Ring will be on the way back, other stuff inc BMW Welt on the way out.

Just after the best way to see the Alps really in the time I have available.
