li-ion handheld drill - BA
Discussion
aren't Li-ion batteries hand baggage only? but don't see a problem with the rest of the drill in the hold.
Best thing is to call BA and ask but

Thanks guys, yeah asking the people that (should) know makes sense!
well get the name of who you speak to and the ref of any policy they refer to and hope for the best, one thing about the travel industry is that it doesn't matter what you think, what you have been told or sometimes what the actual rule is. only what the jumped up authoritarian in front of you thinks and your success's is down to how much supporting docs you have and their ability to listen to reason.whats the capacity of the battery?
if its less than 100wh I'd just stick it in my hand luggage and the drill in the hold and hope for the best, i have had far more funny looking things in the hold than a power drill.
