brussels / venice / budapest - must dos, food & hotels?

after dithering for a good while i've just spend an hour trying not to kill myself whilst booking a string of ryanair flights for early june.
plan is to do 3 days in each of brussels, venice, budapest, and krakow. been to krakow before but the others are new to me. would very much appreciate decent places to eat, drink and be merry.
one specific question - we fly into treviso late on so thinking of staying there overnight and doing to apprach into venice in daylight. any ideas on the best method/route for wow factor? a riva would fit the bill nicely if it isn't horrendously expensive.
