Hi all,

Been invited to a stag do in Malta - 3 day long trip I believe.

Any suggestions of stuff to do?

There are plenty of museums as I recall, really quite interesting to learn about the history of the place which is very interesting.

You'll be spending most of the time in Paceville but try and catch a bus and take a look around.

Loads of stuff to see, but as it is PH I can recommend.

Why?
just go to St Julians and it's a very young area to go to. Malta ia a superb destinatuon. The problem is that too many Brits go to cheap all inclusive hotels and see nothing of the islands. It's a very international destination where you'll meet lost of girls from Italy, France, Holland, Scandanavia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, Germany, Russia, Ukraine etc. Nice place for a stag do so long as you don't be an arse.

Some excellent suggestions from Silver993TT.

Three days is not really enough time to see what the Island has to offer, I have previously owned property in Mellieha and have visited Malta several times a year over the last thirty odd years on holiday, so know the Island pretty well.

Sunday:- Car/Bike Meet 9am at The Apple's eye cafe at Golden Bay.

Saturday:- The Armstrong 100 ton gun at Fort Rinella, Kalkara.....Google it.

Best beaches?...Probably Mellieha/Golden Bay

Nightlife? Paceville/St Julians...weekends..very busy.

The Malta Car museum near Buggiba/Qawra......well worth seeing.

Two excellent WW2 museums in Valletta....Also visit Republic Street.

Sat pm. Drag racing at Hal-far...(ex WW2 aerodrome)).....Google for dates.

The Blue Grotto is well worth a visit, (If time allows)

Have fun...smile

If you live around Southport and you prang your car, odds on you'll be running around in a Karl Vella Courtesy car.
