Has anyone been?

I'm taking the little ones there this Saturday, travelling down Friday night from Yorkshire, staying locally, full day Saturday planned with Peppa and friends.

Is there enought there for 10am-4pm? There is very little online about precisely what is there.

Thanks, I'll have a look at that.

I can see the da-da-da-dada-da-da-da-da-da-da Peppa Pig music starting to grate a bit tbh.

Friends of ours live nearby and have a season pass as their little one is obsessed and it's £25 each for the adults by all accounts. They say there is plenty to keep them amused for a full day and it sounds as though there are a decent selection of rides and things (kids like doing the same thing over and over again don't they?).

£25? Christ on a bike.

Cheers though, at least we'll have an action packed day before the Saturday njight thrash back up the M1.

It's really well done, very high quality, and my daughter loved it.

We went last year. As above, it's very well done and my 3 year old daughter loved it. Queues can be pretty long, but there's so much going on around you to keep the little ones' attention, they seem to go down quite quickly. Well worth the trip down there.

Seconded, my lot loved it, we went to the rest of the park first which was empty and then PP World later, it had cleared out a bit by then wink

Can't you just take them to a field and let them jump up and down in muddy puddles?

I'd take my 3 year old son but he is so obsessed, I would never get him away from there.

This made me laugh on here: http://www.peppapigworld.co.uk/play

Went last year, i thought it was really good. It's part of a larger park so stuff for adults too.

Took the gran kids last year. The 3yr old loved it. Arrived at 10 and left when it closed, only in the Peppa Pig world, but there are other 'rides' in the park. The water park was her favorite, but probably not open when you will be there.

Bought my god-daughter an annual pass for Paultons Park (the correct name for the theme park that contains Peppa Pig World) for Christmas 2011

Took her (aged 8) and her sister (aged 2 1/2) there for the day 2 Saturdays ago.

Hardly any queues and there was more than enough to do for a complete day... in fact we were one of the last to leave the park thanks to all the "just one more go" that we went through.

If your kids are big fans of Peppa then make sure you're at the school house for one of the meet and greet sessions, there were 3 on the day we were there and the youngest was literally quivering with excitement as Peppa gave her a hug.

95% of the rides can be gone on unaccompanied by kids over 1m tall, though there are a few that kids under 1m can't use at all.

Take a picnic, the food quality at the park is awful, nothing but fast food and chips.

Remember to take a camera, and if you don't want to lug coats etc around all day there are lockers available at various places for a quid a shot.

Longest queue we experienced was to actually get in the doors, they only had one ticket place open at 10.30 when we got there.

Anyway, have fun... the kids will love it and their happiness is infectious!

You could fill up two days in Paultons park as well. PPW is very well designed and good quality.

Just an update on the day:

Fuel to and from New Forest: £170
Cracked windscreen on Range Rover on M3 - fk knows real cost, £100 contribution on insurance.
Hotel near Peppa Pig World for 2 adults, 2 kids: £349
Entry to Peppa Pig Land for 3: £63

Obviously its pissing it down, packed with chavs and the kids don't want to go on any of the rides.

I fuycking despair sometimes. I'm missing the rugby and the F1 for this? They can bd well forget Disney Land next year.

There's football on today too, a great day for sport on tv.

This is why I just pay to go to Spain - it's cheaper in terms of "it was worth it"
