I want to book a holiday this year to melia cayo guillermo in Cuba. As far as I know Thomas cook are the only guys that fly out there.

Thomas Cook are in a spot of bother. Does anyone know what would happen if they go bust - would I lose my holiday? I would be flying out on their plane so I'm guessing there would be no flights even if they had paid the hotel?

Anyone who actually knows what would happen and how safe booking a holiday is with Thomas cook please reply!

Thanks in advance

Virgin fly direct to cuba, as do cubana,
Alternatively you could go via cancun, toronto, montreal, madrid or paris amongst others (but not the US)
