Via Paris?....or not?
Discussion
Hi
Further to my other posts I am heading down to the S of F on hols, specifically to Beaune. The 'quickest' route from Le Chunnel appears to be via Paris although there seems to be an alternative via Reims. AA Autoroute has the Reims one around 30mins longer.
I have driven via the Paris route before which was an experience
Is it worth the extra half hour given the potential/propensity for slower traffic/snarl ups around Paris or should I go via Reims?
Cheers

I used to quite like going via Paris then started going via Reims.
Decided to try Paris again for a change and regretted it!
4 times in the last 12 months I have been via Reims again and there is a new (ish) bit of Autoroute that bypasses Reims now!
Via Reims unless you want to go to Paris (rather than drive the Peripherique for the sake of it!)
