Manchester airport flight

Can anyone tell me how far in advance i should arrive at the airport, prior to departure?

I should be able to check in on line the day before the flight but will have some luggage to check-in at the airport

Depends if your flight is national or international...

its international... I guess I should be arriving 2hrs prior if i check in online and 3hrs if i cant check in online

Unless it's trans-atlantic, 2 hrs is more than plenty, irrespective of whether you check in online or not.

I live c40 mins from the airport, and usually leave home 2 hrs before departure. This give contingency if anything happens en-route, and gives plenty of time to get from the car park to check-in and then through security.

If I'm early I visit the lounge for food / drink, if not, I head straight to the gate area.

This is based on making c60 flights from MAN over the last 18 months.
