Duty Free on domestic flights

[edition]

Hi,

I'm flying in the uk this week and wondering if I can buy some duty free still at the airport.

I'm after some perfume for the wife, will I be able to get this at a reduced rate?

Thanks in advance!

Erm, as far as I know, travellers are only allowed to purchase duty free if booked on a flight to any destination other than an EU country.

It's why they look at your boarding pass at the checkout 'airside' to see where you are heading.

Ahh, I have always wondered why they do that

yes, although it's not really duty free.

I'm not sure about perfume, but booze is just as cheap in the supermarket
