Hi all, am looking at spending a couple nights at De Vere Dunston Hall I
In the next couple weeks. Am wondering if anybody has stayed there and what they thought of it? Cheers

I've used it a couple of times when visiting Lotus. It's ok. Tell them you definitely want a room with an outside window as they have some completely internal ones. It's fairly typical of a big chain hotel - does nothing particularly badly, but equally it isn't outstandingly good in any way.

Cheers for the reply, I was looking at booking a "deluxe" room so it either looks over the garden or the golf course smile

Been there five or six times for various reasons, its a great setting and the service is good, ive always gone when cheap deals were available and on most occasions managed to be up-graded on the room. They do a carvery on most week nights and its good food too, eat as much as you want, wine is the normal hotel cost i think cheapest bottle is around 13 or 14 quid. the views from the rooms are all ok too, if you get the rooms at the back they over look the golf course which is quiet in the morning, the front over looks the car park and court-yard so can be a little noisy from car and taxi doors banging or deliveries sometimes early in the morning. Its easy access to major roads in and out of Norwich and easy to get into the city too.

Cheers for the reply, ill probs be using "last-minute" or "late-rooms" closer to the time and see if can get good deal.
