I'm busy planning next years walking holiday for our party of 10 middle aged blokes.
We're looking at a trip to the Bavarian Alps in mid September.
Berchtesgaden looks to be a fairly good base, so I'm looking for accomodation around there and would welcome any recommendations.
We're not looking for upmarket luxury, just somewhere clean to bathe and sleep, with food and beer nearby.
