Egypt Airport Transfers
Discussion
Heading of to El-Gouna shortly. Holiday comes without transfers.
Looking online there are plenty of sites you can book transfers. Having experienced Egypt before i'm slightly dubious as to finding our transport.
Has anyone used one of these companies or any idea how much a taxi might cost?

we have a property in El gouna ,
there are several choices
for taxi / airport pick ups
http://www.elgouna-limousine.com/service.htm
as everything is owned by Orascom , its company owned so you wont get ripped off.
Are you renting a property ? or staying in a Hotel ?
If you are renting , I would advise going to the Senzo mall ( Spinneys ) outside Hurghada first , you can then load the taxi with enough food provisions to last you a week as there are only small super markets ( best buys ) in El Gouna and a bit more pricey

some very use full info in the magazine , the back page has all phone numbers of restaurants etc.
http://www.elgounamag.com/
another thing if you want a really good steak , I can reccommend the "captains steakhouse" , "Cheers" deliver wine , beer to your door at no delivery charge , The duty free is open in the Marina but you only have 48hrs after landing to pick up duty free .
If all else fails pm me I know an Expat out there who may be able to pick you up
cheers
edit to add I think Ian ( Expat charged 100 LE ) 11 Quid for taxi pick up ,
