Does anyone know if BA pilots/cabin crew/ground staff/ATCs are planning any sort of action in December (like they usually do)? Just booked some accommodation for 9-17 Dec but found out I can't use my preferred carrier due to timings, and BA are coming up with the next best deal.

I'm usually cautious of BA as I've not had great experiences with them in the past (lengthy delays, missing bags etc) but it's been a while so maybe things have got better? Next most economical option is Delta but they're £150+ for the exact same route which I'm a little loathed to pay if indeed BA have picked up their game recently. Route is ABZ - LHR - LAX - Kauai if it makes any difference.

I would say you should be OK as the staff always seem to pick the peak times for maximum leverage. A week later and I wouldn't be so confident. I've been caught by BA in the past so avoid when possible. Obviously Qantas is another one to avoid right now.
