Elbow Cay, Bahamas

Need advise from anyone who has traveled to Elbow Cay in the Bahamas. Ta.
My BA flight gets to Nassau around 3pm and then there is a small plane that gets me to Marsh Harbour at 620pm, where there is a ferry to Elbow Cay, except I was originally traveling with friends on a Fri when there is a late ferry but due to work I am now going solo the following Tuesday when, you've guessed it, the last ferry is at 545pm.
I have searched the web in vain but it appears that I will be stuck in Marsh Harbour/Albury Harbour for the night before I can complete the 3 kms across the water to meet up with my pals in Hope Town, Elbow Cay.
So what is Marsh Harbour like and what are the chances of finding a cheap decent guest room/B&B for the night?
Cheers and the trip is not until the Summer.
