Purely theoretical question, if one were to drive down to the south of France (meaning Monaco) with a car on a trailer can anybody think of somewhere you could leave a trailer for a month or two?

The situation would be no parking space at the other end but willing to leave it somewhere up to 100 miles away, how could you go about it?

I'm thinking motorway service stop, abandon beside a field, find a car park and just leave it in a space, but none of these are actually sensible. One thought was just keep one car on said trailer but in a multi-storey garage it wouldn't be possible to take it on/off inside so hardly practical!

What are you ideas?

Find a local company in the area who might let you leave it on their site for the period.

Otherwise you might come back and find the trailer gone or damaged.

Or maybe a local farmer who will store it for a few euros.

I think I'd rather do either option and know that the landowwner was happy about it than simply drop it somewhere and take the risk.

Look for a caravan storage place in the region. It wouldn't cost much to keep a trailer there.
