North Wales this weekend...suggestions??

Me and the OH have started to get a bit of cabin fever this week. We have a free weekend this week and I suggested the idea of going for a nice drive somewhere. North Wales is close to us but I haven't been for quite some time and don't really have a clue of where we may be able to visit. Last time I went was to Rhyl suncentre, what a dump!

Can anyone suggest places / things to do?? The idea I have in my head is that we drive down some really good B roads, see some nice hills and mountains, stop off at a nice pub, stop off at a couple of nice towns / villages along the way and go for a walk, then its back home for tea and sexy time.

I have heard of the Evo Triangle, I'm guessing they are quality roads to go for a hoon, are they close by? (not that its too high on my list of priorities as we want a nice trip out rather than a balls out, driving on the door handles drive)
