Planning on going to Bath soon, going to camp to get away cheap. Looking at going to Wookey hole, cheddar gorge and longleat as the activities. Obviously go into Bath and goto a ...bath.

Any codes/promos out there for any of the above, or anything close to Bath?

Recommendations of anything else to do would be great too.

Do go on the open top bus tour of Bath, it's well worth it. If you can, get some tickets to the rugby, that's always fun. Other than that, as a resident all I can tell you is that the traffic is really, really, catastrophically bad.

Dyrham Park NT just north of Bath is a nice day out. Lacock (pretty village, Abbey, Harry Potter location) is close, as is Castle Combe (might even be a race on). Bowood near Chippenham has a mega adventure playground.

Nice pint by the canal at The George at Bathampton.

Boat trip from Pulteney Weir up to Bathampton.

The Thermae Bath Spa is grievously expensive.

Try if you can to go to Laycock/Lacock. It's really stunning.. Just outside bath.

Theatre Royal was a good night out.. All of it really!! Had a great time there.

It'd be best just to go to the Leisure Centre and get someone to fart nearby in the water for a similar effect at a lower price. wink
