Hi

Unfortuantly I have not been able to travel down to Newquay with my friends today. I am now looking at other methods of travel to get there!

National Rail are talking in excess of £140 from the Chester/Liverpool area, I have now looked at flying down!

Does anybody have any other tips/ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry. Driving is not an option!

Try split-tickets for rail travel.

Example; Chester to Bristol £60 then Bristol to Newquay £34.

Just keep trying combinations until you get the cheapest. Suggest you look at the change stations on the 'single ticket' route then price each leg individually.

A friend of mine did the coach from Leeds, it took him about 12 hours and he said "Never again..." smile

The coach is more expensive than the train and plane!
