How did you book? Every date I put in shows no availability.
I mainly use Ryanair from BHX and there is an option to book fastrack when buying the ticket or you can add it on later but best to buy it early.
Thanks. Strangely, BHX Fast Track isn’t showing with Jet2 frown

Probably sold out as they only have a limited number for each time slot. I booked yesterday for 6th Aug, 14th must be a popular date.

Ryanair are opening bag checkin 3 hours before travel now at BHX (used to be 2 hours). Check to see if Jet2 do the same at BHX and then 3 hours should be sufficient without fast track.

On the back of this thread I've booked FT for an imminent flight. You lot had better be correct, or you owe me £5 right!

Check out the comments on the latest DM article. It will be the best £5 you’ve spent all year smile

I think Jet 2 has always been 3 hours to be fair to them. They also do night before drop off of your flight is before 12pm, then you can just go straight from the monorail to security on the day of your flight.

That photo doesn't make it clear where the start of the express lane starts. Is the grey-haired gent to be wrestled out of the way?

Never mind "Fast Track", (another money making ruse) it's time those without any liquids in their hand luggage were sent through a seperate line.

....and let's not forget the root cause of all the bloody queues is the grasping airlines charging to put bags in the hold.

Also another update re inbound journeys to BHX.

My son’s girlfriend flew home from Tenerife to BHX yesterday morning, landing at 02;15 AM at BHX.

With the queues for inbound immigration, then an issue with baggage handling for her flight and two others the bags took 3 hours to arrive.

Apparently it was carnage, with people loosing it with officials.

She finally got out of the Airport at 05:45, almost 4 hours after landing.

That really is atrocious, BHX seriously need to sort their S**t out!

Took almost 2.5 hours to clear security today. Arrived at 12:15 for 15:30 flight.

They were trying for ages to get a 2 year old girl to keep still in the right position for the body scanner.

Really? What's the bloody point of that? However did we manage before all this high-tech stuff that doesn't work consistently?

Yes, really. It was taking ages as the queue was ever lengthening 2 hours away.

Didn't see push chairs getting scanned though.......
