Many of my friends who holiday in France are saying the same thing, one of whom drives a Porsche. Whilst not deliberately trying to damage your car I’ve observed that many French children just fling the car door fully open regardless of the adjacent parked car.

thats a fair bit different to your original post which claimed French were targeting and damaging nice UK reg cars on purpose.

Little bit of tongue in cheek here as regards UK cars. However doors being flung open with careless abandon is a real problem that friends of mine and I have encountered.
