Where was I? (Vol 6)
Discussion
Maybe it’s just me…but I’m struggling to see how this photo complies with this bit of “the rules”…
- The location must be in some way identifiable in the shot (think holiday forum rather than photography forum biggrin)
Other than the blue disc, there is nothing to give its location away….kinda backed up by two pages of “wrong answers”…
IMHO it sucks the life out of the game… as you were!

So nothing to add, right
As it's Friday, let's move this to a conclusion:
I make fairly frequent journeys to Essex, and from the midlands, options are the A14, then dive off at various points, say to Sudbury, which is okay. But sometimes I need to deviate more southerly, and I loathe the M25/A12. This is where using the A120 to Colchester is useful, although slower, just a nicer view. To pick up the start of the A120 at Buntingford, the most direct link is the wiggly little A507 to Baldock, which extends to J13 of the M1, via Shefford, Clophill, and Ampthill.
This little house at Cottered, on a corner, with it's blue plaque, piqued my interest years ago. And the personage is pretty important in global political terms:
The floor is open..
