I recently discovered this wrens nest tucked in between the rotating cable guides under the ramps on my four post car lift.

The wren continues to occupy it despite the lift being raised up and down on a regular basis. It even hops out of the nest and flits around the workshop whilst I am standing there and then returns to the nest.

I haven't inspected the inside of the nest to see if there are eggs or chicks.

I also had a robin nesting in one of the nuts and bolts Hopper bins hanging from the wall which fledged chicks successfully and again didn't seem bothered about human activity in the vicinity.

Anybody else had any birds nesting in interesting or unexpected locations?
