Just born baby dear at Safari Park pics

We went to West Midlands Safari park over the weekend and were very lucky to spot a mother that had just given birth on the side of the road just feet away from us!!

Mum was busy cleaning the baby up (quite gross actually seeing her eat the afterbirth etc ) but wonderful to watch the little baby trying to stand up

Unfortunately we had to move on as some other cars piled up next to us and blocked the road so we didn't get to see the baby actually stand,but she was really trying hard!!

Looks to me like an antelope and not a dear (sic) to me

Nice pictures though, must have been interesting (i.e. somewhat messy) to see at close quarters

you are most probably correct, there were dear and antelope in that section and I just presumed it was a dear
