Thought I'd seen that Oscar somewhere else...was just reading your thread on another forum.
I was going to pop a few photo's up of some of the fish in my community setup (because I'm lazy - the tanks behind me and taking photo's of my others means getting up) but the GBR's, peacock gobies and hatchets won't sit still, and the Nanacara Anomala won't come out of hiding - so here are a couple of old photo's of the peacock gobies and praecox rainbows:
Neither photo does them justice - the tank is in a naturally well lit room and when the sun shines on the tank they look fantastic - but with the glare it's almost impossible to get good photo's of them then.
I'm just setting up a 370L new world cichlid tank that I'll be moving my Sajica, Rainbow cichlid and Pim Pictus across to soon. I'll also be adding a Severum (probably Rotkeil but not decided yet) and a Nicaraguan cichlid to it at the same time - once that's done I'll post a few pic's up.

dont have a testing kit i put him in last week after a few days of the biube tank going clear,
he was fine swimming around very colorful very playful...
then my lovely baby brother hadnt seen me home for a few days so decided to feed him.........just like he would his old gold fish......so a good couple of pinches of flakes, i didnt know till that night, when i said something about how much food was in the tank....
unfortunately it was all behind media, gravel, rocks, air tube, plants and couldnt get to it so its dissolved over the last few days, anyway came in today to find him laying on the bottom of the tank.......so ive done about a 40 % water change hes now either floating at the top, or laying at the bottom, and inbetween hes jerking around as he swims

Keep doing 40-50% water changes every few hours - that will keep the ammonia under control. It's simple ammonia poisoning by the sounds from overfeeding and water changes will fix that short term if your betta survives long enough. Longer term you'll need to move him elsewhere (bucket, or a big plastic bin from B&Q) for a few hours whilst you clear out all the rotting food.he was fine swimming around very colorful very playful...

Fingers crossed for you.
thanks mate, did a 40-50% change last night, he seemed ok for a few hrs afterwards, this morning hes back at the bottom.
im popping to a guy at works during lunch and borrowing some prime off him to try and sort the tank, so tonight ill do another 50% change, aquasafe and prime in there and hope that sorts it!

I appreciate it's a bit late, and apologies if I have misunderstood your post, but if you put him in a few days after setting up the Biube then that is the reason why he is in trouble. You need to cycle a fishtank properly - absolute minimum should be a couple of weeks, but as tenohfive has stated in other threads, 3-4 weeks is best practice. Are you replacing with tap water? If so, fill a few buckets and allow them to stand for as long as possible (days rather than minutes) so that it gets rid of the chlorine (ok, so won't help tonight, but good practice for the future). Better still, use rain water or distilled water.
And get a testing kit - API do a good one for about £25-30. In a 35l tank it is very easy for the water quality to change dramatically very quickly - you need to keep on top of small tanks far more than larger tanks as they are more unstable.
Bettas are relatively tough little guys though - so don't despair.
morning mate,
he went in about 3-4 days after it was set up, i set it up the friday night he was in the monday night,
he was fine till yesterday evening so a full week, and had no issues, as i say last night he was laying on the bottom, last thursday perhapse my baby bro put tons of food in.
ive got to wait till i get paid to get any strips or prime or anything.
