Basically I inherited a garden fish pond a couple of years & due to the pump being faulty, it was decided that I would replace the pump + filter box.
I decided to place the filter box inside our garden shed which is located directly next to the pond, approx 1 metre away for easy access etc but is this a wise thing to do? Will warm sunny days like today effect the performance of the pump/filters? I did notice this afternoon that the box & hoses seem to be "sweating" like moisture dripping off & just checking that this is ok?

Shouldn't be a real problem as it's just about bacteria growing on the "pads" inside the filter (I assume you just have a few rows of blue/green sponge in there).

yes Just the filter pads + uv light that came with the package. It was just a direct replacement of the previous stuff which lasted 5 years, which is good apparently. The only thing I have done is move the filter box. I know whats causing the moisture but I just want to be sure that having the box indoors is ok.
