Fudge the Hamster

Ok here's the thing. I'm as manly as the next man but my daughters hamster died this morning and that in its self is not too bad but her explanation of how it's ok as Fudge has gone up to be with smudge (who escaped unfortunately after few days of getting him presumed KIA)has made my chest heavy in a most un-manly way.

When my son's first hamster died, we buried it on the local beach and had a little ceremony for it, (my little boy was only 2 at the time) When the second one died of old age, he said, "can we throw it in the sea like the last one!!"
