This things been singing and tweeting away for a few weeks now, you can get quite close to it as i have done in this photo.

Now looking through some books on British wildlife and such the only one we can point it down to is a Chaffinch

Now what it seems to do alot of is fly close or into windows, pressume it keeps thinking its seen a mate, which is calls for day and night! And although we think we've seen a mate fly about with it its adiment its seeing another one in the window hehe

Any ideas would be great, anything they like to feed on?

Errr. Could it perchance be a Little Red Robin. Once they get to know you they can be quite cheeky little things. smile

Yep, I reckon its a Chaffinch

Incidentally, the RSPB's bird indentifier is very usefull for this kind of thing.

What they said ^^

It is a narcissic little thing, that will tap on the windows at itself to get its 'mates' attention hehe Drives the cats wild!
