My border terrier pup has started her first season. But instead of the normal spotting, shes giving off a small white discharge. This is the first border I've had so I need to know if this is normal for a first season or should I be taking her up to the vets?
Important point, also, how well is she? Off her food? The discharge could easily be unimportant (eg juvenile vaginitis) but could be the start of a pyometra which is a serious womb infection. Hard to tell with the info so far.
