Best at Crufts

Lovely dogs weren't they!
So who won in the end?
My sister's Dally Fraser got 4th place in the Dalmation Veteran class. A good showing, and looks like it is his last show as she's considering the snippty snip for him next year, retiring on a high. His 'son' Mr Darcy will be taking over the reins as he just qualified for crufts for next year with a best in show at his first championship show and well looks on his way for a junior warrent.
OT: Did any one watch that 'how to buy a puppy' programme on more4?

Glad the Flatty won, just hope that the public do not go out and get one. They are amazing dogs, but are a handful and not a good dog for inexperienced people (IMO)
The coverage was pretty dire this year. I didn't see any obedience and only the medium champ final was shown, with barely a mention for the winner. Mary Ray's routine was all of 5 seconds and this is normally one of the highlights for me

I'm glad the Flattie won too, but then I may be biased as I own one!I too hope it doesn't send the public rushing out to get a Flatcoat puppy. They're not that much of a handful just a bit loopy for a few years.
One of the friendliest and happiest breeds I've known, although they can be a bit ADHD on occasion.
