A Deportivo Pereira footballer called Luis Moreno decides to clear an injured owl from the pitch by booting it off. Utter utter scum. I can only hope that a wider broadcast of the incident will lead to some pressure on the club to boot off this excuse for a human being.

Apparently his 'supporters' are up in arms, because the owl was thought to be the resident lucky charm.

Do I have to say its pretty disgraceful.. Yes they probably get stuff on the field pretty often and kick it off, but you could easily tell it wasn't just another roll of bunting like they usually chuck onto the pitch.

I had hoped that removing most of the animal threads from the lounge would also have meant that we also removed some of the thug elements. Obviously this is not always the case.

You can'y say someone looks like a thug, its a stupid comment to make, and I could probably play a race card too if I wanted , yes it's an awful thing to do, but he doesn't look like a thug, he looks like any other man, he happened to kick an owl (which when you say it sounds hilarious, the reality is less so).
