This guy seems to be a 'hilarious' troll. Still a shark tank would be pretty cool if you had extortioned enough money from the World's governments hehe

Oh it can be done.

Of course, you may have a few problems getting hold of a tiger shark. In terms of filtration, you will need about 15,000kg of Live Rock, that's going to set you back about 75k, that's assuming only a 30,000 Gallon tank, which might be a little small for an adult tiger given they get to 15ft or so.

The main cost will be the frickin' laser beam for its head. Pricey.

Quite possible for a man of your wealth and knowledge to attain a pet shark i'd imagine (Laser beams too). How is that F458 your wife ordered for your birthday?

Why not paint it salmon pink and keep it in a paddling pool. Just to confuse the grizzly bears when they pounce.

I've got three freshwater silver sharks in my aquarium. They may not be Tiger sharks, but they are fantastic things to watch. I'll post a picture later, if I can catch them on a rare moment when they aren't screaming flat out around the tank!

They may not even be sharks.

If you haven't got an aquarium the size of an olympic swimming pool, a dogfish might be a cheap and interesting alternative. And if you get bored with it, they go well with chips and mushy peas.

I once had to attend a fish welfare course at Plymouth University to get a licence to conduct research using live fish. While giving a tour of the facilities, we saw a large tank of lesser spotted dogfish which were incredibly tame - the instructor just picked one out of the water, showed it to us and put it back. LSDs would make brilliant pets for a big enough aquarium, but I suspect they would need a chiller, and even though they are a small shark they are still tankbusters by normal standards!
