Swordtail

My swordtail has lost his tail! He's on his own and no other tank mates bother him, as far as i know, what does this mean?

no, they're all fine. Been like it for 3/4 days now

Has it reverted back to female? i.e it might need a mate.

Not sure with these never had them perhaps do a search
