After quite a search which involved quite a few 'strange' calls, we finally found our new puppy.

She's only just turned 4 weeks old, so have a little wait before we can pick her up but the whole family is bouncing aorund like tigger.
No name yet - the kids have got that decision!

Any recommendations for which is the best insurance company to use?

No doubt i'll be back on for some training hints and tips in the near future..... smile

apologies for the poor quality camera phone pics

She's going to be gorgeous, especially as she's honey coloured. Enjoy!

She's gorgeous!

Would highly recommend petplan for insurance.

Pet Plan most expensive usually, but also have the best cover.

Happy to answer any training/behaviour questions later on.

Btw, I recommend a crate.

Yep I use pet planplan and when I asked the vet they said they were the easiest for them to deal with and were also recommended to me by various other people. Expensive at 27 quid a month though.

It will be very worth while getting the gundog club "puppy guide" (http://www.thegundogclub.co.uk/shop/index.html) its the best info for anyone who has a new puppy and is house training and basic recall etc. It is very informative even if you've had alot of dogs before.
