Post any pics you have of your pets playing in the snow.

Our horses love it, last year was the first time 2 of them had seen it.

Also a video from last year when Henry (the dark thouroghbred) and Basil (the mini shetland) had first seen snow and were a bit excited

The time between the cat going out the flap & coming in is measured in milliseconds! Nothing like enough time for a pic & not sure if he is bottling it up or having the quickest pee/dump in history biggrin

Our chickens always look cold (although I am assured that they're fine) and they don't like walking in the snow, so I made them some mealworm porridge today to warm them up.

Here's a vid of their first snow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UHMXGL7DDY

They're still laying happily though, still averaging 12 eggs a week between two of them.

Easier to find a non-snowy picture since we have a 5 month winter smile

The girls say WOOF! (thanks!).

The cat is less impressed with the snow and will only go outside 'when needs must'.

WTF is that? A great Dane? If so, I've never seen such cool markings!

How high at the shoulder is he?

Ohhh Meal Worm porridge. Tasty. I'm sure my Chckens have been swearing at me in the morning recently...their voices have definitely changed since the cold spell started. When they hear me 20 yards off the 'foul' language starts.

Vaseline on their wattles is supposed to help keep them warm.

I have a huge bag of left over veg and bits from my parents for them tomorrow, there's even a bit of Turkey in there hehe
