Sorry for your loss, don't forget to cuddle the other one, they've lost a mate as well.

Thanks.

Ahhh, sorry to hear that. As Mrs M says extra attention of the other one now, he also lost a mate frown

Sorry to hear of your loss, looked a fine dog, think of the happy times if you can, and as already said, lots of cuddles for t'other one.

Thank you, my sister took him in for me, she was in there at the end, said he was his happy self.

Sorry to hear this Jem0911. We had our GSD put to sleep on the 16 August this year, and I still miss the big daft sod every day.

Cheers.

Anyone give me some help on telling my four year old son?
He knows Jack went to the vets.
I am thinking that I am going with the; 'Jacks a star in the sky now as he died'?
Then we can see him until his memory fades?

Bit stuck really but have to do it tonight when I get home.

Just tell him the truth, That way, you won't have to try and remember the "lie", IYSWIM. Your son will be upset of course, but that's all part of the grieving process. But there's nothing wrong saying that Jack has gone on to a better place, and you'll always remember him in your hearts.

I can imagine. But your son's young, and will probably bounce back quicker than you.

Tell him about the Rainbow Bridge.

All your pets when they die will wait for you to join them there.

I hope there's a bloody big field next to it for all my lot when I get there!
